Where were you?
In a left-abandoned, dark place,
Or grave with a purple wreath,
With cruel and deafening silence
And dancing shadows of death
I search for ghost of my dreams,
And skeletons of died faith,
Withered blooms of my love,
Burning to the fire of lies beneath.
Where were you?
When my world was falling in front of my eyes,
Where were you?
When without you I was living nothing but lies,
Where were you?
I buried myself in agony and fear,
Where were you?
I was waiting for you right here.
You never meant to leave me,
But you put that promise to shred.
Eyes with despair; bled tears,
Memories struck like splinter in my head,
Pleaded not heaven but you to save,
This reign of grief wasn't easy to bear,
Where were you when I needed you?
I was waiting for you right here.
