A Gesture for ‘You’
Dear You,
You are independent, incredible and unstoppable.
You have reached to a stage in your life with your hard work and brilliance. You are totally worthy of the best and deserve to be the best. You are an amazing human being. Care and love you spread around you is unparalleled. You love being treated nicely and pampered, but you are equally capable of conquering what you desire, all by yourself. You are not about roses, wines and fancy dinner dates. You are not about being gentle, fragile and weak. You are powerful, adaptable and forgiving. You are beautiful, adorable and absolutely delightful. You have immense endurance, as you not only deal, but fight with all the social stereotypes, abuse and disrespect the world has to offer you on daily basis, but at the same time, don’t let anyone bullshit you. You have stayed positive in your life, no matter what. I have a lot to learn from you, have a lot to gain from you. You have always been an inspiration and source of strength, courage and passion for life. I am happy, glad and blessed to have you, even in the smallest of the possible ways, in my life. I respect you, I adore you, I value you and salute you. I can't imagine how hard it is; what its like to be a woman, but if you ask me, I am sure it is not as difficult as to be a good man who treats you well. I hope I have done my part well - I promise I will treat you even better with every passing moment, and if I haven't done my part well - I deeply apologize and promise to improve and give you nothing but the best, because you deserve nothing less. Don’t settle for anything less! You don’t need me or anyone else for that matter, but I need you! The world, a better world needs you! I believe the whole life would not be able to suffice, to repay everything you have done, still, a very small attempt to celebrate a joy of having you in my journey of life, on a day today. I will always be in your debt. Wish you all the happiness, success ..
and
Love from me, always.
- Kush [Not Asthir at this moment]
P.S. - They say it’s easier to raise a better child than repair a broken man. Thank you Mum for raising me; I have many to repair.
Dedicated to all the lovely women whom I have known, met, loved, ignored or lost. You are powerful.
